I would say that you just need to follow what your heart tells you... it is kinda of Artsy for me and i would consider my self as a Painter not a "Photographer".
Most of the times i'll follow my feeling and that's why it is kinda hard for me to get…

Looking for Creativity Part 1
When you are learning to take pictures it easy to become a great imitator. When I first started out I spent hours in the basement surfing the web copying all my favourite images with my camera. I diligently followed strobist.com, and all my favourite groups on flickr. I could spend unaccounted hours in books learning the craft that everyone else created.
